The Importance of Investing in Professional Photography for your Business

We recently had our very own branding shoot completed for RubyOnyx at the stunning Gibraltar Hotel in Bowral with the one and only Tim Hannah. We had such a fantastic day but most importantly we ended up with images that captured who we are (we can't wait to share more with you soon)

With the introduction of smart phones, many consider themselves to be pretty good when it comes to taking photos. There are so many apps and editing tools built in to phones that for the most part you can do a pretty great job of capturing moments.

Let's face it, we don't all have a professional photographer following us around 24/7 so we make use of what we do have when the moment calls for a photo. BUT (and that's a big BUT) it takes experience, qualifications and a creative mindset to truly capture the essence of a person or brand.

If you have followed us for a while now, you would know that we are big on using professional photography when it comes to visually representing brands. We work with some incredibly talented photographers, all who have their own niche. One thing they all have in common is the ability to bring brands to life through their craft. These photographers have the ability to create artwork within the lens.

When you invest in professional photography, you are investing in telling your #brandstory through imagery. This is why it is so important to use photographers who specialise in just that - telling a story. Gone are the days of a standard headshot. While headshots do have their place, they fail to display personality and they fail to communicate your brand's story, your brand's voice and your brand's identity. So when you are thinking of having professional photos taken for your brand, invest in a "branding photography session". These sessions not only cover individual photos but also unique content photos specific to you and your business (no more stock photos needed).

Great photographers know how to capture the moment and these moments, unrehearsed and unposed, are often what tells your brand story.

If you would like some guidance on brand photography for your business, contact the team at RubyOnyx to find out how we can help. We would like to thank the photographers who work with us to help bring brands to life:
